Uses:
The Bolt Extensometer is used to measure bolt stretch on stop valves, control valves, rotor couplings and turbine joints. It can be used on both through and blind bolt holes. The kit includes a hardened block to file the rod end that contacts with the indicator stem, thus obtaining a square end, and a handle for buttons to take readings in any area where the rod cannot be inserted into the stud.
